Three Months Old

Avery's 3 month birthday was yesterday. She is such a sweet baby! We are very lucky to be her parents. She is laying in my lap smiling at me right now. She's a really good baby, too. She only cries when she's hungry or sleepy. Other than that she's pretty laid back. She's also been sleeping through the night for a week now. Here are some pictures we took last night.

Back to Work I Go...

I go back to work tomorrow after a 12 week maternity leave. I'm very glad I was able to take 12 weeks off. I've enjoyed spending so much time with Avery. I have mixed emotions about going back to work. I really like my job and I have some really good friends at work that I've missed seeing everyday. So I'm ready to go back and get back in the swing of things. I'm also sad to leave Avery, but she will be in the capable hands of her daddy so that makes me feel better :)

To celebrate going back to work, I treated myself to a pedicure. Then we all went to the driving range and Avery and I watched Adam hit golf balls. Avery loves being outside and it was a beautiful day.

Happy Mother's Day

I have thoroughly enjoyed my first Mother's Day. I love being a mom and am so grateful that I have a beautiful, healthy baby girl. We had baby dedication at church today and it was very special. Avery wore a beautiful dress that her Nona (Adam's mom) made for her. Our parents were able to come and go to church with us so we got to spend Mother's Day with our moms as well.

Adam did a good job making me feel like a special mom. He put a lot of thought and time into my presents.

Easter

We enjoyed celebrating Avery's first Easter. She looked too cute in her Easter dress! We actually made it to the 9:00 service at church and Avery did really well. Before Avery was born, we were able to get up at about 8:00 and get ready and make it to church by 9. Now, I have to get up by 6:00 in order to get ready, feed Avery and get her ready. It's crazy how your life changes when you have a baby :)

After church we went to Gadsden and stayed for a few days. We were able to spend some time with family and friends.

ONE MONTH OLD

Today Avery has been a part of our lives for a month. It is amazing in just a month I sit and wonder what did I do before she was here. I must have really been bored.
