ONE MONTH OLD

Today Avery has been a part of our lives for a month. It is amazing in just a month I sit and wonder what did I do before she was here. I must have really been bored.

2 Week Checkup and Pictures

Avery had her 2 week checkup today. She is a healthy and thriving little girl. She weighs 7 lbs 7 oz (20th percentile) and is 20 1/2 inches long (45th percentile). She's not quite back up to her birth weight but she's eating well. She's already grown an inch since she was born! She is almost too long for her newborn sleepers. She didn't get any shots today, but she did get blood drawn from her foot. Adam held her while the nurse pricked her and she didn't even cry. Hopefully she will do that well when she gets her shots at our next appointment.

On Saturday, we had Avery's 2 week pictures made. We have a great photographer who came to our house for the session. Avery did really well. All of the pictures will be online in about 2 weeks, but there is a sneak peak on the photographer's blog.

Two Weeks Old

Avery is 2 weeks old today. Time is flying by! These pictures were taken today. Adam and I made the bunny for her at Build a Bear.

HELLO WORLD

On February 26, 2009 our lives changed forever. We welcomed our daughter Avery Marie to the world.
