Easter 2010

We had a great Easter weekend last week. On Friday, I was off work and my mom came to spend the day with us. Avery got to wear another cute Spring outfit and her red shoes.

Friday night, we had a get together with the worship team at church to meet our new worship leader Chad and his wife Jessica. They are really nice and we're very excited about Chad's first Sunday tomorrow.

Saturday, some of Adam's family came to visit. We started the day at the Easter egg hunt at church. It was raining so everything was moved inside. It was a lot of fun. They had face painting (Avery got her hand painted), balloon animals, cookie decorating and crafts.

Avery was excited about her balloon!

Mia liked the balloon, too.

Decorating cookies

Avery liked to eat the sprinkles, but she wouldn't eat the cookie.

Mia loved her cookie! She'll have to teach Avery how to eat sweets.

After we left the church we went to the Mellow Mushroom and ate lunch.

I love this picture. They were sharing a banana for lunch.

After lunch, we headed to our house so Avery and Mia could play and have their pictures made together in their Easter dresses that their Nona made for them.

So sweet!

So silly!

We went to church Easter morning. Avery wore her Easter dress from her Nona and her pearl bracelet from her Granna. She did well wearing the bracelet...I was afraid she would try to rip it off her arm, but she wore it all morning with no problems. We went to the first service and then had to stay in the nursery for the second service so we were at church all morning. Then we spent the rest of the day enjoying the beautiful weather! It was a great weekend!

She learned to stand on her own the night before Easter. This is the first picture we have of it. She looks freaked out by it!
